The Clinic at 1719 W Lemon Tampa is available for walk in clients by appointment Monday through Friday, but some people need help getting there. For those, we offer the Neuter Scooter.

The Process
The Neuter Scooter is a van provided by funding from the Petco Foundation and is offerred as a free pubic service to transport dogs and cats to the ACT clinic for spay and neuter surgery and services requested with the surgery. The Scooter makes stops in the early mornign and returns your pets late in the afternoon of the same day. Check the calendar link above for the Scooter date and location closest to you and call us to make an appointment.
Here is the process:
- Call 813-250-3900 to make an appointment at the pick up point of your choosing.
- Be at the Scooter stop by 6:30 am on the morning of your appointment.
- Have you dog on a leash or your cat in a carrier. We cannot accept cats not in carriers.
- Leave your dog or cat in your car and come to the Neuter Scooter to fill out your admission form, which includes services you are requesting that day. Because the admission form has 4 copies on NCR paper, we cannot post it for you on the website. It will expedite tremendously if you were to print out the price sheet and circle what services you want that day. You will leave with a copy of the admission form.
- Note: If your dog or cat is not receiving a rabies vaccine that day, we are we are required by law assure that the rabies vaccine is current. Please bring rabies proof with you to the Scooter or we are required to administrate it and it will be billed to you.
- Your pet will be transported to the clinic at 1719 W Lemon St in Tampa. We will only contact you if there is a need for communication. You can call us if you wish to check on your pet's progress, but please be aware we will be returning him or her to you late afternoon.
- Please meet the Scooter at the time designated by the driver when she picks up your pet. Normal time for drop off is 3:30 pm, but it might vary according to the number of pets we have that day.
- Fees can be paid via cash when you pick your pet up or credit by calling the clinic between 1 and 2pm that day.
